BCom, PGDipBusAdmin, MMgmt, GradDipOccHSE, CFHRINZ, CAHRI
With over 20 years of experience across Australia and New Zealand, Lisa has partnered with some of the region’s most recognised organisations, including Spark and Air New Zealand, as well as high-growth founders, boards, and leadership teams inside SMEs, not-for-profits, and large-scale service environments.
As the founder of People Associates, Lisa is known for solving high-stakes, high-friction challenges that sit beneath the surface of strategy decks and leadership offsites. Her work includes leadership performance, dispute resolution, employment relations, structural design, and cultural alignment, with a focus on delivering systems that hold up under pressure.
She brings formal training in business, management, and safety, and is also a certified coach, experienced mediator, and licensed private investigator – an uncommon combination that gives her both the access and the tools to address the issues others avoid. She operates at the intersection of leadership, culture, and performance – where clarity is essential, and misalignment has real commercial consequences.
Lisa was named to the 2025 HR Hot List, recognising the most outstanding HR professionals across Australia and New Zealand. The award reflects not just her experience, but her influence—particularly in reshaping how organisations think about leadership capability, operational culture, and long-term people performance.
She has served as National Vice President of HRNZ, tutored in Employment Relations at Massey University, and mentored leaders through Business Mentors NZ.
What sets Lisa apart is not just her depth of expertise, but her ability to work alongside senior leaders in high-pressure environments – quickly identifying what is off track, uncovering what is holding the organisation back, and delivering clear, practical solutions. For many CEOs, she is the secret weapon they keep in their pocket, the person they trust to help solve the problems that matter most.
